How Promote Together Works

Promote Together is the easiest way to organize a fundraising group online. Here, you can make a difference by creating a social donation group for every cause you want to champion.

To get started, all you need to do is:
 
  • 1. Setup: Create a group and be the voice of your cause.
    2. Invite: Send invites to everyone to support your cause.
    3. Promote: Promote (your cause) together to reach your goals.
Your passion and vision is what drives your success, so show the world once again how it is done.
Setting up your Donation Groups
Step 1:  The first screen you will enter is where most of your data for your cause goes.

Important first steps are Group name is the first data fields that you will need to complete. Select your school from the drop down list. Group name suffix – you can add a campaign school calendar year or anything that will help identify later on. Next up, you should be thinking about the donation amount goal that you want to accomplish with this campaign. Promote Together has templates to help kick off initial thoughts. Those templates are also editable. Or you can go your own way. Lastly, you should add an image to your donation group. This could be the school logo or maybe some students from your website. Remember this image will be used in our website to help promote your cause. Remember the information that you entered will be sent out to your donation group, once you click create group!

Step 2: Adding your members to your donation group.

This step is where you will add all of the email addresses of the members of your donation group. Simply type in the email addresses (make sure that you use a comma in between the names of each member). Once you have entered those email addresses and have double checked your work – click create group. It is that simple. Emails will go out to all email addresses that you have entered.

Step 3: Monitoring your donation group. Raising money is not an easy task. Promote Together has a dashboard for you to monitor progress, send out emails, use social media (Facebook, Twitter) and track additional actions. When monitoring your donation campaign the action buttons allow you to email every member or just those that you want to. For example, you are at a critical point of your campaign and you want to send out a reminder to those that have yet to donate. Use the Action Area to accomplish just that.
